I have been using my Oxford Inox Electric Gloves in the Twizy, Luxury!

I already had these for use on my Motorbike.
Last week I ordered the optional accessory socket cable so I could use the gloves in the Twizy.
These are very energy efficient and only use 1.05 amps 13.5 watts per pair.
The Accessory socket on the Twizy is only rated to 65 Watts so these are perfect.
The gloves have three heat settings, I tried them yesterday and they worked really well.

These look great-I was surprised the accesory socket would run them. Is the cable long enough to go inside sleeves etc? Does the glovebox lid shut?
What sort of cost are they with cable?

The Twizy socket is rated at 65 watts, the gloves only use 13.5 watts so in theory it could power 4 pairs

I don’t put the leads down my sleeves!, I just have them plugged in, and yes the lid does shut.
I leave them plugged in and store them down the left hand side.
When I come to drive the Twizy, I put the seat belt on and then put the gloves on.
I don’t find the cables get in the way at all.

They are not cheap but I had them from my Motorcycle.
They can be bought for £100 upwards… The accessory lead converter cost £14.99
There are cheap battery powered heated gloves available from £4.99 upwards, but don’t have a clue how good / bad they are.

Mapins have some cheap gloves in at £12.50 and a jacket at £25. Both battery but wouldn’t take much to put a lead on them for those who know how.
